There will be two post-screening discussions this week at IC. The first will be by Prof. Carolina Núñez (Law School) following the Thursday (19 Sept.) 5pm screening of Icebox. The post-screening discussion will begin about 6:45pm after the film ends. The second post-screening discussion will be hosted by Profs. Richard Fry and David Morgan (both from Industrial Design) following the Saturday (21 Sept.) 2:10pm screening of Bauhaus Spirit. This discussion will begin about 4pm after the film ends.
After the 2.30pm screening of Apollo 11 on Saturday 14 September, Professor Mike Joner (Physics) will lead a post-screening discussion about the Apollo 11 mission and some of the science represented in the film. A great chance to hear from a world-class physicist about his take on the mission and the film.
On Friday 13 September at 5pm, Prof. Carl Sederholm (Comparative Arts & Letters) will lead a post-screening discussion of Billy Wider’s classic noir: Double Indemnity. Screening starts at 3pm with the discussion immediately following.
